It's really tough to see what's happening in the Anglophone regions of Cameroon, and the recent visit by Prime Minister Dion Ngute to Buea just brought it all home for me. He arrived Buea under super tight security. And honestly, it makes sense, because you can feel the fear of attacks from separatist fighters. What's striking is that the visit itself wasn't even announced beforehand β which tells you a lot about the real situation on the ground. And then there's the welcoming crowd.
