WOLE SOYINKA HITS ON NIGERIAN LEADERS

Professor Woke Soyinka is a Nigerian novelist, play writer, poet.eassyist in the English language who was born on the 13th of July 1934 , has poured out his grievances as to the Nigerian presidential elections by stating I quote:-

" Nigeria is The Only Country where Professors Rig Elections For Politicians But Expel Students For Examination Malpractice"

This seems to be an attack on the chairman of  Independent National Electorial Commission (INEC) Mahmood Yakubu who is a professor and has been alleged for rigging and manipulating the 2023 Nigerian presidential elections.


It should be note that the results were declared even after so much irregularities at many polling units across the country.

Also it is said that the chairman has failed in upholding the laws of the state since he went ahead to proclaim the presidential results even after the law states that results in polling stations that had disruptions should be cancelled and there should be a re-run and also for him not taking in to consideration the opposition from the citizens seeking for proper investigations of the Electorial malpractices.
