CAMEROON, 88 YEARS OLD NIAT NJIFENJI RE-ELECTED AS PRESIDENT OF THE SENATE

The Cameroonian Upper House of Representative has reinstated Marcel Niat Njifenji as president of the Senate on Monday the 27th of March 2023. He is a Cameroonian politician who was born on the 26th of October 1934, in Bangangte in the West Region of Cameroon. Marcel Niat was appointed as the first senate president and has held that position since it's creation in 2013.

He had seventy nine (79 ) votes out of Eighty two (82)votes. These decision has brought a lot of criticism from the Youths of the country questioning how can an 88 years old man be the president of that senate and how can he  hold a position for 11 years.
